	The Light in My Life

**Title:** The Light in My Life
**Author:** Miss. Creativity
**Disclaimer:** I do not own iCarly. Dan Schneider does.
**Summary:** Sam kissed Shane first and Carly was disappointed. Could someone lighten up her mood?
**Author's Note:** Please read and review. Don't put this one-shot on Favorites without leaving a review! I have to this is random, but whatever your opinions are, that's fine. I was going to put this in my Creddie Drabbles, but then it just kept getting longer and longer (I don't count 513 words{without the title, author, etc.} being short) , so I decided to make a oneshot, so don't put this story on Story Alert. I get that a lot for oneshots. As you will later can tell, this is set during the episode iSaw Him First. Enjoy reading it! PS I plan to make another Creddie oneshot so keep an eye out for that one! :)

The Light in My Life

Carly made a loud sigh as she was reading her textbook. She needs to study for a test tomorrow, but that's not the reason why she's bummed. It's something different. The real reason is shocking to her, but at least it makes her best friend happy, right? That's all that matters. Sam never had a boyfriend (they don't think of Jonah as boyfriend of hers, just a cheater), so she hopes their relationship could be something big and it will last for a long time.

"Is there anything wrong, Carly?" Her other best friend, Freddie, asked her concerned was in his voice and it was written on his face. "You seem down. Anything I can do to make you feel better?"

Carly made a smile at him. It was nice that he cares about her so much even though she acts like she doesn't. Her feelings for him are complicated. She doesn't want him to be her boyfriend because whenever she breaks up with guys, they always stop talking to each other. She doesn't want the same thing to happen to Freddie and her. Freddie's have been such a good friend to her and she doesn't want to lose that close friendship she has with him.

"I don't think there's anything you can do to make me feel better, Freddie, but thanks anyway," Carly said nicely as she could because she doesn't want to hurt his feelings.

"Is it about Sam and Shane?" Freddie asked her and Carly thought he could be a mind reader because that's exactly she was thinking. "You're jealous, aren't you?"

Carly got a little defend at that question. "I'm not jealous. I'm happy for Sam."

Freddie raises his eyebrows. "Really?" He's certain that she doesn't. Even though Sam saw him first, they went to have this big competition. The competition was basically about whoever kisses Shane first, will get to go out with him and guess who the winner is? Freddie is happy for Sam and the only reason for that is so he could have another chance with Carly.

"No," Carly sighs again and closed her book and Freddie did the same. "I guess I _am_ jealous of Sam...I never thought I would say that..." Carly looks at her best friend and admits. "I just want a boyfriend, you know?"

Freddie smirked and came closer to her. "I want a girlfriend and I suppose we can work this out," Before Carly could protest like she always does, her lips were on his. After eight or possibly ten seconds passed, they were done and were catching their breaths.

"Wow..." Carly said breathlessly and when she's breathing normally, she asked. "What was that for?"

"To make you feel better," Her favorite thousand-watt smile came on. "Did I make you feel better?" Hope was in his voice, she listened closely enough.

Carly smiles. "I think you could cheer me up a bit more."
